Julie Freundt

Peruvian singer/songwriter Julie Freundt was born and raised in the bosom of a family surrounded by local musicians She started writing poems and practicing traditional dances at a young age. A song called "Miremos Todos" became her first composition. In 1990, her debut album Algo De Mi was released by Virrey Records She also made a tribute to Peruvian star Chabuca Granda with Déjame Que Te Cante...Chabuca, issued in 1991. Freundt began touring Latin America, Europe, and the U.S. soon after. ~ Drago Bonacich
