In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Singing Jonas Brothers songs for show-and-tell in year 3, with a "backing band" of air guitarists. Everyone wanted to be in the band. We even had a kid on security to make sure the fans didn't go too mental. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Billy Joel, Turnstiles Jacob Collier, In My Room The Lemon Twigs, Songs for the General Public Turnstiles will always be one of my favourites of all time, undoubtedly. I'm into The Lemon Twigs quite intensely at the moment as I've discovered them recently. As a teenager, In My Room and Jacob Collier generally changed my musical life forever. Tell us why you chose this song. “Stay Away” I sat at the piano and told myself I wanted to right a straight up banger. The first thing I played were the chords of Stay Away - then the melody just came. It was probably composed in 20-30 minutes, and the lyrics were mostly encoded in the melody.
