In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember being 3 or 4 years old and learning to use our old videotape player to play Disney's "Fantasia" over and over again. I remember being mesmerized by the film, and my mom adds that I even tried to "conduct" the orchestra with my hands. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? BT, Everything You’re Searching for Is on the Other Side of Fear Borodin Quartet, Shostakovich: Quartet No. 4; Quartet No. 8 Joe Hisaishi, Dream Songs: The Essential Joe Hisaishi These three albums represent a wide scope of sounds and musicality that deeply interest me regarding style and discourse, from BT's very gentle mix between film-like orchestral music with electronica to Hisaishi's unparalleled melodic sensitivity. Tell us why you chose this song. “Whoever Brings the Light” Strings are such wonderful instruments that I feel composers will never grow tired of. This is one of my favorite compositions because it's based on wave-like string gestures and an ever-evolving harmony that. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Here's two: 1) Dtudying my Master's degree at Berklee College of Music and getting to compose and perform with wonderful musicians from all over the world. 2) Having my music debuted by Cepromusic, Mexico's leading contemporary music ensemble. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Definitely! I'd love to tour the world with any of my musical endeavours and perform to audiences from all over.
