About Carlos Goñi

Spanish singer/songwriter Carlos Goñi moved from his native Madrid to Campayo, Alicante, at the age of six, soon becoming a handball player and guitarist. Garage was the name of his first band, and he later joined Comite Cisne, playing alongside Remy Carerres, Lino Oviaño, and Luis Macías. The band issued Dulces Horas in 1985. In addition, Carlos Goñi participated in La Gran Esperanza, recording an EP called New York Blues. He continued with Hay Folk, Blues y Tambien Rock'n'Roll, and finally the successful pop/rock act Revólver in 1989. ~ Drago Bonacich
