Armed with classic jazz techniques yet ready to take over pop, Emilie Nicolas stepped into the spotlight with 2014 debut Like I’m a Warrior. Earning her two prestigious Norwegian Grammy Awards, the work is an emotional roller coaster strewn with winding vox, ethereal textures and punchy synths.
