Dutch vocalist Iris Kroes came to prominence as a contestant on the second season of the reality television vocal competition The Voice of Holland. Born in Drachten in 1991, Kroes studied harp while growing up and sang in both rock and big bands before auditioning for The Voice of Holland. Several singles she recorded for the TV show reached the Top 100 singles charts, including her takes on "Foolish Games" and "Listen to Your Heart." Ultimately, Kroes won The Voice of Holland and released her debut solo album, First, in 2011. ~ Matt Collar
