In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The Band got together and played their very first show in 2013 in Copenhagen. Two years after the concert, the band members met again to make their first album (cocoon 2017) together as a group. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Elliott Smith, Elliott Smith George Harrison, All Things Must Pass (2014 Remaster) The Beach Boys, Pet Sounds All three albums have some really nice melodies and amazing sound production. Death Machine are inspired by the sound and authenticity of their lyrics and vocal and instrumental performances, which is also what we humbly strive for in our songs. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Bleak” Bleak is one of those songs that almost wrote itself. It has a hint of summer and gives us good energy when we play it. It also helped us break through to the broader Danish music scene. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We went on a three week long tour in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, which really helped us grow as a band, both as musicians and persons. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We would love to play some of the big festivals in Europe. Roskilde Festival in Denmark is most certainly still on the bucket list.
