YoungBloodz Essentials

YoungBloodZ helped prove the power of the Atlanta hip-hop scene with their 1999 debut album Against Da Grain on LaFace Records. Leaning heavily on southern drawls and catchy hooks, Jeffrey Ray "J-Bo" Grigsby and "Sean P" Joseph turned crunk beats and party-ready lyrics into a string of regional anthems including a GRAMMY®-nominated hit produced by Lil Jon. Their releases slowed after 2005 but they've remained a steady presence on the radio thanks to frequent collaborations with artists like Kelly Rowland, 112 and Too $hort.
