Wheesung has always been an artist's artist. His 2002 debut album, Like a Movie, was lauded by respected Korean singers like Seotaiji and Shin Seung Hun, and British soul star Craig David hand-picked Wheesung to record a Korean version of his hit “Insomnia.” Wheesung is a big hit with the public too, thanks to his funky, R&B-inspired approach to pop songs and ballads, topped off with his distinctively throaty voice.
