This U.K. indie band doesn't sound much like an indie band and that's a testament to their diverse influences. You can hear many '70s and '80s post-punk and alternative heroes in their spectral sound, such as The Cure and The Slits, as well as cult faves like Japan. They also blend modern R&B and dance into their intimate style, taking cues from Missy Elliott, Destiny's Child, Burial and others.
