The Biters know their mid-'70s glam and proto-punk inside and out. While their fuzzy, mechanised riffs have roots in Hector's glittery burst of cyborg bop “Wired Up”, their hooks echo the sugary, hard rock rush that Starz unleash on “X-Ray-Spex”. As for the Biters' scream-along choruses, Iron Virgin perfected those on their brilliant, over-the-top fist-pumper “Rebels Rule”.
