Teen Men

Named for a phrase from a '60s ad in Playboy magazine, melodically sweet, experimental electro-pop band Teen Men began as a one-off public-access TV audio/video project in Wilmington, Delaware. Singer/guitarist Nick Krill and guitarist Joey Hobson of indie dance-rockers the Spinto Band, with visual artists Albert Birney and Catharine Maloney (both on keyboards), eventually gathered enough material to record their debut album, with Krill engineering, mixing, and producing. Amid a tour in support of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah!, the self-titled LP was released in mid-2015 by Bar/None Records. ~ Marcy Donelson
