In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was performing a hip hop Gospel song in church back in 1989 (4 years old). I feel like I was one of the first hip hop gospel artists of all time :) What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Common, A Beautiful Revolution (Pt 1) Elevation Worship, Maverick City Music, Old Church Basement R. Kelly, Happy People / U Saved Me Happy People/U Saved Me is an album I associate with some of my favorite memories and U Saved Me was one of the first gospel albums I really connected with. Tell us why you chose this song. “Waiting On You” "Waiting On You" was born in a waiting season where I was so frustrated until I felt the Spirit of God reminding me to get back to the place where I recognized how blessed I already was. When I hear it now I think about how God showed up for me then. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My favorite moment so far was when I received the lyrics to "The One I Get To Love". Those lyrics spoken to me THROUGH me from the divine completely shifted my perspective on life and how I up in my relationships. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want my song "The One I Get To Love" to become the number 1 song in the world not for me but because of the impact I believe it can have on the world and the way we show up for one another.
