Essential Albums
- There's a haunting tenor to James Horner's score to the epic love story Titanic. The Celtic-inspired "Never an Absolution" acts as an overture, foreshadowing the love and loss that will soon unfurl, while "Death of Titanic" closes the story like a grandiose musical eulogy. Celine Dion's soaring performance of "My Heart Will Go On" remains timeless. Select cuts evoking the ship's chamber music troupe that didn’t stop playing until the very end add to the emotional weight of Horner's score.
