爵士樂隊 The Bad Plus 來自音樂藝術聖地明尼亞波利斯，樂隊當時由鋼琴手 Ethan Iverson、 Bass 手 Reid Anderson 和鼓手 David King 組成，擅長將經典的搖滾樂重新編排，演繹出獨樹一幟的爵士風格格。專輯《Give》延續一貫的另類搖滾爵士風格，曲風動感歡快，高雅卻不拘謹，大膽又跳脫。其中《Velouria》將 Pixies 的名曲，創新性地改編爲帶有 Funk 風的爵士樂，既傳承了搖滾的金屬風，又帶有前衛的實驗感。而專輯中的原創作品，曲風怪誕，充分展現出三個音樂才子的俏皮一面。
