In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Sitting with my ear pressed to the speaker of the jukebox in the bar i grew up in, taking in every note, every word, every crack in the voice of the singer. I felt understood in that moment in a way my four year old self couldn't explain. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Passing Through” We started recording the album in January 2020 and then 2020 happened and we didn't get to return to finish it until 2021. In that time, this song took on a new meaning in the context of what we had just gone through, globally. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was fortunate enough to play the legendary Saxon Pub in Austin, where I had spent many nights working for other bands and musicians before I wrote or played music, myself. It was an emotional night being on that stage and performing my own songs.
