BABY PLUG

BABY PLUG is an Atlanta rapper who counts Future, UGK, and Yo Gotti as influences. ∙ He teamed up with South Carolina producer Yung Icey for the collaborative 2020 EP Icey Baby, which was notable for its Lil Scrappy feature on “Pop It Off.” ∙ The 2020 album Lemme Pop My Shxt 2 included remixes featuring Young Nudy (“No Vest”) and Lil Keed and Lil Gotit (“No Fifties”), as well as an appearance from YP (“Hunnid”). ∙ BABY PLUG received praise from Pitchfork for the 2020 single “Feel Right (Float On),” which heavily sampled Modest Mouse’s “Float On.”
