About Trio Karénine

France's Trio Karénine records for the Mirare label and performs in top chamber music halls. The group has a strong commitment to contemporary music and has performed several world premieres. Trio Karénine was founded in Paris in 2009 by violinist Fanny Robilliard, cellist Louis Rodde, and pianist Paloma Kouider. Robilliard was later replaced by Charlotte Juillard. The group released its debut album, featuring Schumann's two piano trios, in 2016. Trio Karénine has recorded five albums as of 2023, including an album of trios by Josef Suk and Antonín Dvořák that year.
