Patrice Moret

Patrice Moret is a classically trained Swiss double bassist. Through 2018, his career has been that of a valued and featured sideman. He is an integral member of the Colin Vallon Trio, the Nicolas Masson Quartet, and the Elina Duni Quartet -- all of whom record for ECM. He also played bass on expatriate American singer Ann Malcolm's album The Crystal Paperweight alongside trumpeter/arranger Tom Harrell, cellist Daniel Pezzotti, violinist Alejandro Rutkauskas, tenor saxophonist Andy Scherrer, Vallon, and drummer Dejan Terzic. ~ Thom Jurek
