In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My uncle Bret was in a punk band called Gaunt from Columbus, OH (look them up, damn good band) and the memory of him giving me his guitar so I could learn and him taking me to record stores comes to mind as when I first fell in love with music : ) What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Four Tet, New Energy Jimi Hendrix, Band of Gypsys (50th Anniversary / Live) Sigur Rós, Takk... I loved listening to rock growing up and I'd listen to this Hendrix album religiously. I chose Takk... because I was just flipped when I first heard the beauty of that band. New Energy / Four Tet made me think I could make electronic music on my own. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Gone Away” Not the most streamed song but it's one of my favorites. It came together quick when I was finishing up my first EP and it's kind of got a little bit of everything I love. Soulful vocal chops, a beat I love and some beauty in the middle. Go listen!
