About Elle King
Singer-songwriter and actress Elle King grew up listening to classic country and R&B and was inspired by The Donnas to pursue a music career. ∙ While busking on the streets of New York City and playing at local clubs, King was discovered by RCA chairman Peter Edge, who signed her to a record deal. ∙ Her breakthrough single, “Ex’s & Oh’s,” a Top 10 hit in the US and 11 other countries, was nominated for two Grammy Awards. ∙ She duetted with Dierks Bentley on his 2016 country hit “Different for Girls,” which received a Grammy nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance. ∙ The 2016 Ghostbusters remake features her song “Good Girls” on its soundtrack and during the closing credits. ∙ Her father is comedian Rob Schneider, and she has appeared in his films and TV specials, including Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo.
