The Vaccines unleashed their first stripped-down, noisy and ultra-catchy demo in 2010, and the music press instantly proclaimed the London foursome the heirs to The Strokes and Arctic Monkeys. Released in 2011, their debut album, What Did You Expect from the Vaccines?, buzzed with rough garage-rock hooks, infectious punk-inspired energy and cheeky-but-charming attitude. It went platinum and they quickly followed it up with 2012's moody and melodic Come of Age. The Vaccines found a way to grow up without sacrificing the full-throttle intensity that made them stars.
