Suzanne Ciani Essentials

Before becoming a GRAMMY®-nominated new age performer, Suzanne Ciani was a pioneering electronic musician who studied under software developer Max Mathews and worked closely with synthesiser designer Don Buchla. In the '70s, she created sound effects for television commercials, video games and film scores—work that was collected on '12's Lixiviation. In the '80s, she signed to Private Music and released a string of new age and meditation albums, including several for piano. '82's all-electronic Seven Waves remains a major touchstone for synthesiser revivalists like Emeralds.
