About Natalia Damini
Brazilian pop singer Natalia Damini is known for her hooky, club-ready sound that fuses hip-hop and dance music. Damini first came to the public's attention with her 2010 hit "Feelin the Love," before releasing her full-length debut, 2014's Beautiful. In 2017, she issued I Am Natalia Damini, which featured appearances by Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz. Born in 1992 in Fortaleza, Brazil, Natália Camurça Carvalho became interested in performing at a young age. By the time she was 17, she had released the single "Feelin the Love," which caught on in Brazil and helped launch her career. Moving to São Paulo, she topped the international dance charts with her second single, "Your Lies," which paved the way for her 2013 Bad Girl EP. In 2014, she released her debut full-length album, Beautiful, which featured collaborations with Nicki Minaj, Gucci Mane, and the Shop Boyz. Also that year, she paired with Lil Wayne and Rezzo for the song "Can't Stop Me." More international attention followed, including reaching number one the Billboard Emerging Artists Chart in September 2015 with her song "Crazy" featuring 2 Chainz. In May 2017, she returned with her second full-length album, I Am Natalia Damini, which featured both "Can't Stop Me" and "Crazy," as well as the spotlight track "On the Floor." A stand-alone track, "Pacemaker" featuring Petey Pablo, arrived in February 2020. ~ Matt Collar
