In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was in the sixth grade, I entered my school’s talent show and sang “Run To You“ by Whitney Houston. When I was done, I got my first standing ovation. I saw my dad there bawling his eyes out, and knew in that moment I had found my calling. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Fugees, The Score (Expanded Edition) Patty Griffin, Living with Ghosts Portishead, Dummy The Fugees album takes me back to high school, where I would blast it in my Chevrolet Cavalier and sing out loud. Portishead's Dumy reminds me of Spring Break in South Beach, Miami. And I love how Patty Griffin uses imagery in her lyrics. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien". I love him so much, and that was a huge career highlight for me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd like to record a lullaby album! I've got two children now, and I've written many songs to help put them to sleep - it'd be great to share them with other parents out there!
