In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At an after-party when I was 6 there was a woman named Soozi Schlanger playing fiddle and singing in french. It was Cajun music and I was transfixed. It was the moment that made me want to learn to play an instrument and sing. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chantal Kreviazuk, Colour Moving and Still Daniel Lanois, For the Beauty of Wynona Patty Griffin, Flaming Red Here are 3 that are almost always in circulation. Colour Moving and Still has got big musical nostalgia for me. For the Beauty of Wynona was seminal and mind-altering. And what I adore about Flaming Red is Patty's brutal honesty in her writing. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One the greatest moments was when I was on stage with Joni Mitchell singing Woodstock with her. Her band of all-stars was backing us up and she was radiant. It was electric and I'm not sure how I'll ever top it.
