In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Having the honor of watching Nile Rodges work up close at Paramount Studios during a scoring session on one of the films he composed music for. This changed my life and showed me the possibility of becoming a film composer. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Pink Floyd, The Wall Steely Dan, Aja Remastered The Alan Parsons Project, The Turn of a Friendly Card (Deluxe Anniversary Edition) Everything you need to know about songwriting is contained (for me) in these three albums. They represent a broad spectrum of composition, style, and creative leaps. These were highly influential to me growing up. There's more, but I'm boxed in. Ha! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Way Home” This song represents a creative journey for me. It catalogs a creative process that had me searching beyond the usual confines of what was expected of me musically and ultimately finding my unique voice in music. It finally led me "home" creatively.
