Henri Debs

About Henri Debs

A Guadeloupian entrepreneur who began his career as a biguine artist and gained renown as the creator of a style dubbed 'biguine kombas.' Currently he is best known for his studio in Point … Pitre, Guadeloupe, known sometimes as Studio Zouk La Terreur. As a former musician, he is more involved in the production of The Debs stable of stars than most record producers, especially his brother Georges who owns the now-defunct Georges Debs label out of Martinique. With his background and resources, he occasionally indulges himself by performing and releasing compilations of classic Antilles music, usually a bit on the overly sentimental side.
