About Fort Minor

Fort Minor is the hip-hop side project of Linkin Park co-founder Mike Shinoda. Under the name, Shinoda released the 2005 album The Rising Tide. • Having previously collaborated with Linkin Park on the 2004 joint EP Collision Course, JAY-Z served as executive producer of The Rising Tied. The album features socially conscious artists such as Common, John Legend and Black Thought. • The infectious “Where’d You Go,” featuring Skylar Grey (then known as Holly Brook), reached No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. • The single "Remember the Name" was used to promote TV coverage of NBA Playoffs in 2006 and 2007. • With the release of the 2015 single “Welcome”, Shinoda reactivated the Fort Minor moniker for the first time since 2006.
