In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. when i was 12, i got the role of 'Annie' in a community theater production of 'Annie'. that role's probably where I developed a love for being dramatic and emotional in front of people. Phoebe Bridgers, Stranger in the Alps Rainbow Kitten Surprise, How To: Friend, Love, Freefall The Backseat Lovers, Waiting to Spill 'Stranger in the Alps' was the catalyst of my "sad-girl" era, 'How To: Friend, Love, Freefall' taught me to have fun playing with the soundscape, and 'Waiting to Spill' is such a cinematic album. all of these were big inspo for 'where you left me'. Tell us why you chose this song. “Cannibal (single version)” this song started my journey of releasing music! graham (my bassist) and i recorded it in his attic and released it. i love turning the grotesque into the beautiful, and this song captures the scariness of losing individuality in a relationship. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? we are headed out on my first tour in january to promote my upcoming debut album 'where you left me'. my best friends are my band and we're playing some legendary venues in the northeast. the fact people care enough to come is groundbreaking for me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? every single day, there is a new addition to the bucket list. doing an NPR tiny desk concert has to be pretty up there though. touring the west coast is also up there. i can't wait to see what 2024 brings!!
