In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a child, I used to sit next to my mother while she played some of her favorite Broadway tunes. She inspired my music career with her unbridled love for music. Her popular music of Andy Williams, Julie London, Frank Sinatra influenced me greatly What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Crosby, Stills & Nash, Crosby, Stills & Nash Steely Dan, Aja Remastered The Beatles, Revolver Aja offered an articulate blend of urban jazz with rock n' roll. The songs are emotionally deep. The eclectic mix of Revolver created a whole new standard for rock. Finally, I am partial to songs with great harmony parts. C,S, & N delivered. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Something Ain't Right” It's easy to write a love song. But I think all artists need to use their songwriting for universal themes that impact everyone. Something Ain't Right offers my perspective on some of the many struggles we have right here in our own country. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One moment that truly stands out in my career was my Senior Recital in my college music program. I presented my first original tunes to a college audience of about 300 people. We had a wonderful jazz ensemble of 8 players including three vocalists. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to make some creative videos that accompany my original music. I'm thinking that animated video would work well with many of my instrumental tunes.
