In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My love for music and variations of styles developed at a young age. Growing up in a home without television, I spent most of my time listening to a wide variety of music. They would later foster my own soulful style of popular eclectic sounds. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alicia Keys, Songs In A Minor Amel Larrieux, Infinite Possibilities Amy Winehouse, Back to Black (Deluxe Edition) Deluxe Edition I choose these three albums as I love the messages in each one. The vulnerability, the vocals, the delivery, the lyrics and the melodies all resonate with me on a very personal and real level. Tell us why you chose this song. “My God” Growing up in a deeply religious environment, which was the foundation of my younger years, I made the decision to walk away at 16. I was shunned. I was alone. I realised I did not even know who I was. I wrote the song to God questioning everything.
