Yael Naïm Essentials

Singer/songwriter Yael Naïm burst onto the international stage in 2008 with the global hit “New Soul”. With deft delivery of tender ballads in English, French and Hebrew, she creates a unique blend of folk, pop and jazz. Production can at times be minimal and mellow, such as on the cover of Britney Spears' “Toxic” and the piano strains of “Coward” alongside jazz pianist Brad Mehldau. Naïm can also make upbeat music that grooves, as on the jittery rhythms and quirky keyboards of “Go to the River”.
