A youth riddled with strife carved passion into Sinik's confrontational and emotional catalogue. Rapping with the groups L'Amalgame and Ul'Team Atom since 1996, the French-Algerian made his solo debut in 2004, taking the streets by storm. He creates pounding beats and brutal battle-raps (“L'assassin”), as well as personal cuts like “Dis leur de ma part”, set to mellow piano passages. Throughout his career, protest songs and humanitarian feel-good tracks like “La cité des anges” have kept Sinik close to his people.
