Saïan Supa Crew Essentials

The French supergroup began in 1997 as an alliance between hip-hop legends Explicit Samouraï, OFX and Simple Spirit. With this impressive roster it came as no surprise that the Saïan Supa Crew nailed classic rap productions such as “Raz de marée”. Yet they furthered their reach by embracing contrasting genres like the salsa of “A demi-nue”, the bossa in “KLR” and the joyous reggae of “Que dit-on?”. Their second album X Raisons (2001) won Les Victoires award for Best Rap/Groove Album and collaborations with the likes of RZA and Will.i.am confirmed their international empire.
