French-Colombian musician Sébastian Rocca, known in the French hip-hop and rap scene simply as Rocca, was barely 20 years old when he first tasted success as part of the La Cliqua rap crew. Since then, through Rocca's days with the Tres Coronas group and all the way to his prolific solo career, innocence has not been a trait often associated with him—but honesty sure is. His beats are super versatile and feature dark drones, sensitive piano melodies, cheerful horns and percussive instruments from the realms of tribal and electro alike—everything needed to tell a story, a true story.
