Like fellow French rock superstars Phoenix, Pony Pony Run Run take an unashamed approach to their pop, packing their beyond-catchy songs with smooth grooves, playful bass and twinkly ‘80s synths offset by urgent vocals. Formed in 2003, the three members—who prefer only to be known mysteriously as G, A and T—released their full-length debut album in 2009. Since then, they have steadily honed their liquid mix of electro-rock and dance-punk, releasing their third studio effort Voyage Voyage in 2016.
