The title of MYMP (Make Your Momma Proud)’s 2003 debut LP Soulful Acoustic was on the money. The Quezon City band centred on Chin Alcantara’s soft strumming and Carmella Ravanilla’s bittersweet vocals create gorgeously dulcet acoustic odes—qualities encapsulated in their breakthrough hit, “A Little Bit”.
