As a member of what has been called the Rimon Gang, Miri Mesika stood out almost immediately at the Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music in the late '90s. There she met two of her prominent recording partners: her producer, and later husband, Uri Zach and songwriter Keren Peles. Both helped launch Mesika's solo career a few years later, and the rangy vocalist soon became a national sensation, going on to lead a double life as an actress on stage and in films. One of Israel's greatest vocalists of the new millennium, Mesika has an angelic voice that can reach amazing heights.
