Spanish/Argentinian rebels Los Rodriguez built their formidable rock en español foundation in the early '90s standing on the shoulders of Latin rock pioneers: They capture the boisterous ska-punk energy of Los Fabulosos Cadillacs and channel Fito Páez's frenzied piano riffs in their anthem "Sin Documentos". But they also borrow home-grown blues from the likes of Argentinean psych-rock trailblazers Almendra.
