Lonestar Essentials

Nashville's Lonestar played a major role in getting country music to the masses throughout the late '90s and early '00s. In addition to notching nine country chart-toppers in America, the guys' triple-platinum Lonely Grill also yielded a top pop hit, which kicked off a steady stream of songs that toggled between both worlds. Membership shifted over the years, including the departure of bassist John Rich (Big & Rich) in 1998 and singer Richie McDonald a decade later, though the latter's since rejoined founding members Michael Britt, Dean Sams and Keech Rainwater to rapturous results.
