Swedish singer-songwriter Lisa Ekdahl became an instant star in her home country with the release of her self-titled debut album in 1994. Its lilting acoustic odes and gentle swaying between jazz and vispop, in particular the charming trumpet-driven “Vem vet”, helped it top the charts.
