Jerry Harrison began his career in style, playing with Talking Heads and The Modern Lovers before establishing himself as a solo artist and versatile producer. In the '90s, he found creative ways to make guitar strums shimmer, scoring hits with alt-rockers like Live, The Verve Pipe and the Crash Test Dummies. Other triumphs include Stroke 9’s sugar-coated pop-punk anthem “Little Black Backpack” and Fine Young Cannibals’ update of Buzzcocks’ “Ever Fallen in Love”.
