Part-time frontwoman of Montreal darlings Stars, part-time Broken Social Scene vocalist and part-time folk chanteuse, Amy Millan has been a major player in the Canadian indie music scene since the early aughts. Boasting a saccharine voice, Millan proved to be a gifted songwriter with 2006's Honey from the Tombs—a collection of songs originally written in the ‘90s. She's since released a well-received follow-up and has even thrown her name into the EDM ring by adding Porter Robinson to her ever-growing list of collaborators.
