Like Skrillex and Girl Talk before him, German DJ and producer Valentin Brunn prefers the quick and chaotic edit when he issues his EDM recordings as Virtual Riot. Born and raised in Marl, Germany, Brunn debuted the project in 2011 with the From Space EP on Phantom Hertz Recordings. That same label was home for that year's Phantom EP, then the Quantum imprint issued the SuperHuman EP in 2012. Sectionz Records released his 2013, debut album There Goes Your Money while that year's Sugar Rush EP landed on Audiophile Live. In 2014, his We Are Not Alone EP launched his relationship with Discipline Recordings, the label that issued both the Nightmare and Machinery EPs in 2015, along with the Chemistry EP in 2016. ~ David Jeffries
