The Bullitts

U.K. singer, producer, and filmmaker Jeymes Samuel was a filmmaker first but began making music at the age of 17, messing around with house music initially, and releasing his 12" "When It Rains" under his own name. His 2006 album The Prequel was based in hip-hop and released on Little League, a label that would debut his Bullitts project in 2007 with a single of "The Bullitts Theme." The project began uploading videos with Samuel adding vocals to his favorite movie and television themes. In 2011, he released the single "Close Your Eyes," featuring actress Lucy Liu and rapper Jay Electronica. "Supercool" followed later in the year with They Die by Dawn & Other Short Stories arriving in summer of 2013. ~ David Jeffries
