In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started out playing a cigar box with strings on it. I learned to play acoustic guitar when I was nine. "When The Cowboys Are Gone" speaks to the old west, cowboy singers on the old radio and the silver screen cowboys from the movies of long ago.
