About Diana Baroni

Flutist Diana Baroni focuses on Baroque music. She also performs traditional South American music as a vocalist, focusing on music with African roots. In 2000, Baroni, violinist Pablo Valetti, and harpsichordist Céline Frisch formed the Baroque ensemble Café Zimmermann, which recorded several albums (including one of Bach's Brandenburg Concertos in 2015). Baroni made her recording debut as a soloist on the 2002 album Johannes Mattheson: Der Brauchbare Virtuoso. With a group called Sapukai, she recorded the album Son de los Diablos. Baroni has released several more albums, including Mujeres as a vocalist, in 2023.
