South London rapper Cashief crafts hard-hitting, deeply personal tracks that reflect his passion for music. Although he moved to the U.K. at the age of six, he was deported back to Jamaica in 2014 as part of the U.K. government's controversial Windrush scandal. He had been rapping under the moniker Cashtastic, but after moving back to the U.K. in 2019 he shortened his name to Cashh. A few tracks surfaced the following year, including "Trouble" and "Trench Baby," which led to his debut mixtape, 2021's Return of the Immigrant.
