About Bryant Reid
A key figure behind the scenes of Atlanta's enduring status as a cultural epicenter, Bryant Reid has served as Vice President of A&R for LaFace Records and Atlantic Records. Early in his time with LaFace, Reid worked closely with OutKast, executive produced Toni Braxton's multi-platinum self-titled album, discovered Usher, and enlisted songwriting and production talents such as Jermaine Dupri. While at Atlantic for a shorter period in the mid-'90s, he most notably signed Tamar Braxton and the Braxtons, executive producing the sibling group's album So Many Ways, containing an update of Diana Ross' "The Boss" that topped Billboard's club chart. Reid has since created and produced for television, designed a fashion line, and established the nonprofit Reid Foundation for Lupus.
